La Maugerie in La Manche, also known as the garden of Normandy is central to all the places of interest in Northern france. The D-Day landing beaches, war cemeteries and of course Mont St Michel.
The renowned St Sever forest with its 3000 acres of trees, lake, restaurant, masses of walking and plenty for the children to do too.
Or take a ten minute stroll up the side of the valley, wander through the woods to the table d`orientation and experience the panoramic views of the Vire Valley. Absolutely stunning, never forgotten.
